Students were also busy creating forces and movement inventions for our "invention fair" on Friday. Every student will present his/her invention and identify the forces used for operation. When his/her presentation is complete, your child will be bringing the invention home. Our science test for forces and movement will be next Tuesday.

Week of Oct. 22nd
We have had a very busy week focusing on procedural writing, recipes, patterns, and forces and movement construction! The students have created special drinks for our poetry cafe and we will be voting for the recipe that not only tastes the best but has the most detailed set of instructions. Parents and students will be treated to a sample of our "best punch" at our poetry cafe next week. Please check your child's agenda/backpack for your invitation and RSVP in his/her agenda.
We have been focusing on number patterns using t-charts and number lines this week. Due to the low response for the Math Club, interested students are meeting with me for 10 minutes during class time and math games will start coming home next week.
